Dear students,
The term educational technology is used in many world languages. In English, the terms are used: instructional technology, educational technology, technology of education, technology of teaching; Unterrichtstechnolgie is used in German; öğretim teknolojisi is used in Turkish; and in BiH, Croatia and Serbia, the following terms are used: educational technology, teaching technology, modern teaching technology and others.
However, since it is a conglomeration of several scientific disciplines (pedagogy, psychology, communication, informatics, etc.), the term educational technology is not understood equally. In a narrower sense, it is understood as the use of technical means in teaching, while in a broader sense it is understood as a set of relations between the organization, teaching methods, teaching procedures and the most modern teaching aids.
