The study program Computer Education and Instructional Technologies (CEIT) aims to teach students the skills of applying modern techniques and technology in improving the efficiency of educational processes at all levels of education, and train students for tasks of designing and administering educational computer software and platforms. Therefore, this study program will try to respond to the urgent need for information technology experts, who will focus their expertise on improving the quality of educational systems and processes.
Students will be required to focus on research work and developing their own creative abilities and critical understanding of academic creativity.
This study program prepares specialized educators, who will be able to identify effectively all educational problems, and apply the latest knowledge in the field of psychology, management, information and communication technology and general analytics in solving specific scientific dilemmas. Graduates will research, design and evaluate educational media and systems. They will often work as teachers or administrators in educational institutions, or as consultants in governmental or non-governmental organizations and publishing houses. The primary topics of their interest will be information systems in the educational context, multimedia evaluation and development, distance learning, and modern educational programs that depend on technological performance.
For the successful completion of this study program, students are required to write and defend a master's thesis.
